Volvo and SSENSE are merging fashion and technology with their latest collaboration.

Volvo Car Canada and the luxury retailer revealed a campaign shot and creative directed by Canadian photographer, Norman Wong for the new fully electric Volvo EX30. The innovative images and aesthetic were produced to highlight the vehicle’s versatility, marrying the worlds of high fashion and best-in-class automotive with looks inspired by the endless possibilities the EX30 represents.

“As a brand deeply rooted in innovation and design, we’re so proud to be collaborating with a like-minded partner like SSENSE,” relayed Aliza Alerta, Director, of Marketing and Communications at Volvo Car Canada in a statement. “The Volvo EX30 embodies Volvo Cars’ design values and we’re thrilled to see this come to life through Norman’s lens and the SSENSE team.”

The car design features four unique interior room designs, each inspired by Swedish landscapes – Mist, Pine, Indigo, and Breeze, with exteriors available in five colors inspired by the Scandinavian elements – Vapour Grey, Onyx Black, Moss Yellow, Crystal White, and Cloud Blue.  Each hue is channeled in the looks styled for the campaign.

Volvo x SSENSE aims to imagine an SSENSE fashion carpool with a seemingly infinite number of looks inspired by the EX30. The cast features a creative talent pool, spanning artists, designers, models, and more, including Spencer Badu, Jeremy Joo, Isabel Okoro, Mich Mao, Lauren Armstrong, Josh McIntyre, Tre Akula, Austin Banks, David May, Jacqueline Ashton, Dani Roche, and Emmanuel Uddenberg.

Interested customers are invited to visit SSENSE MONTRÉAL, the brand’s flagship store located in Montreal, Canada from June 14 – 16, where they can shop the full looks featured in the campaign, as well as see the EX30 firsthand and sign up for a test-drive at a local car retailer.
