Sexyy Red Calls Au Vodka “Nasty” After Commercial Appearance
Sexyy Red has shared her distaste for a vodka brand after appearing in its latest campaign.
The St. Louis rapper reportedly took to Instagram stories to give a full review of AU Vodka after starring in a new commercial for the company. In screenshots shared by Rap Alert on social media, the “Pound Town” performer writes a negative review of the spirit.
“Fawk @auvodka don’t buy that nasty a$z sht,” reads the temporary upload. “Iont drink anyway…Thanks for dem buckas doe suckas.”
She continued on a second screen, “Dat sht nasty asf yal on god I had my friends taste it!” closed with the vomiting emoji.

In the advertisement released last week, the “Skee Yee” rhymer sits at her own oval office seemingly after a successful “Sexyy 2024” presidential campaign. Wearing a red cropped suit and American flag pasties, the clip features her sipping a cocktail presumably made with the brand’s strawberry flavor and being bombarded by the political press.
“Fresh off the back of Sexyy Red’s global hit, ‘Rich Baby Daddy’ and her album release In Sexyy We Trust, we decided there was no better ambassador to launch our newest, red-colored vodka Strawberry Burst,” details Au Vodka on its official website.
“Strawberry Burst has been our highest-grossing summer launch and was our first truly global release. The record-breaking launch is far from finished, however, as Sexxy Redd is set to take Strawberry Burst and Au Vodka to new height[s].”
Established in 2015 by two school friends, AU Vodka’s mission is to “place the Gold Bottle in the hands of every influential person within the urban scene,” noting, “hundreds of direct messages were sent to key individuals,” and landing a successful message to Charlie Sloth charted success.
Alongside Sexyy Red, additional ambassadors listed on the website include Lil Meech, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Gloss Up, Soulja Boy, Dave East, Floyd Mayweather, Gucci Mane, Moneybagg Yo, Lil Tjay, and more.
